St. John’s was established in Newport, KY in 1847. Members of our congregation have impacted and shaped the character and direction of Newport for 172 years. We are proud of our heritage and our vision: To Be His Light that Transforms Lives.

Serving the Savior and relying on Him, we are one of Newport’s largest churches whose DNA is that of personally connecting with and serving others.

We want to welcome and encourage you on your journey of faith. To learn more about St. John’s, please come worship with us on Sunday mornings. Coffee hour at 9:00 a.m. followed by traditional worship service at 10:00 a.m. Bring your children. We offer Sunday school and provide a nursery during worship.
