Rev. J. Martin Westermeyer (Pastor Marty) is a retired UCC Pastor after 30+ years of fulltime ordained ministry.
He has Served four churches in the greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky area:
Faith UCC in Anderson Township as Student Pastor, Immanuel UCC, Bromley, KY, Trinity
Hill UCC, Delhi Township St. Peter & St. Paul UCC, Westside of Cincinnati (20 yrs)
Pastor Marty is currently doing pulpit supply, fill-in for Pastors on vacation and/or
sabbatical or needing long-term supply. He served two churches as fill-in Pastor while they
were in the search process: St. John Westminster Union Church in Delhi (8 months) and
St. Paul UCC in Colerain Township.(11 months)
He has been married to his wife Betty for 38 years. He has two step-children, three
granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren. During his active career, he was able to
confirm all three granddaughters. He has been privileged to have baptized six out of the
seven great-grand children and participated in baptizing the other. The great-grand
children range in age from 14 to 5 months.
He and Betty have enjoyed traveling, camping, spending time with family and singing
together in choirs where he was Pastor. Since his retirement from full-time Pastoral
ministry, he has been care-giver to Betty who has dementia/Alzheimer’s. With the
assistance of his family, he has been able to preach on Sundays.
