*New Format for Online Services*

St. John’s UCC Online Worship Services

Beginning the second week of October, we will be changing the format of our online worship services.  You will now be able to hear the entire in-person Sunday morning worship service through a link on our church website each week. You will also have the option of viewing a sermon and prayer only service each week by Pastor Barry Bordenkircher which you can access through our church Facebook page or YouTube channel.

You will be able to access these worship services in several different ways:

St. John’s UCC website  (This is the Sunday morning worship service-audio only)

St. John’s UCC Facebook page (Pastor Barry’s sermon and prayer only service-video)

St. John’s YouTube Channel (Pastor Barry’s sermon and prayer only service-video)

  1. My mother in law and I liked watching the Sunday service every week. Since she has not been able to attend the service any longer she enjoyed it very much. Now that St. John’s has stopped the viewing of Sunday service every week she doesn’t seem to be interested in listening. I really don’t understand why you cut out the viewing of the Sunday service. I wish you would reconsider and start to view Sunday service once again. Our older patrons are entitled to feel that they are at Sunday church partaking in the service.

    • Hello Brenda

We are so sorry to hear about this. Producing two different Sunday Services was very taxing on our staff and with dwindling viewership on the online service, the staff felt this was a nice compromise to help those who cannot attend. We hope you will reconsider and give us another try as these online recordings are our full in-person worship services so it is the exact same thing they would get if they were attending. Please let us know if you have any other additional questions or concerns.
