As 2020 comes to a close, we must now determine what to do about
our in-person Sunday church services for 2021. After talking with
Pastor Marty, we have decided to stay closed through the month
January and part of February. Our hope is to re-open on Ash
Wednesday (February 17, 2021) with Sunday services to resume on
Sunday, February 21, 2021.
To keep everyone safe, we feel that this is the best plan for our
members. By doing this, we are allowing for any spike in the number
of cases of COVID due to the holiday season.
We know this is a very difficult decision and some people will not be
happy, but we feel that we must do this to keep everyone safe.
Thank you to Michael, Kelli, Dobin and Kyle for keeping up with
communications within the church to our members. They are doing a
wonderful job of informing everyone on what is going on week to
week in the church, from letters mailed to members, weekly emails,
the church website and our weekly online services. They are working
hard to keep you updated and informed.
We will continue to keep everyone updated and let you know if by
February 17th, we can come back to church to worship our God once
again. Until then, please continue to watch our online church services
each week.
Continued blessings and good health in 2021 and rest assured that we
will all be back together again soon.
Blessings,
Jan Knepshield
President
